I love this skirt because its bold and comfortable. Two features, I generally want every piece of my clothing to have. But the challenge with this skirt is pairing it with blouses and accessories that don’t make it seem like I’ve just walked out of a western! Like, if I had put a brown belt at the waist and taken the scarf off, I’d be a total cowgirl! It’s a delicate balance, I tell you.

I went on a very special lunch date with my mom and sister to the
Maple Grove Tea House in St. Andrews, Manitoba. The tea house is
located inside a heritage house built in the late 1800′s and is
surrounded by lush gardens on the banks of the Red River. The view is
spectacular, not to mention the food is so delicious and everything is
made from scratch every morning in the restaurant kitchen.

So what do I wear to such an event? A lovely pastry and macaroon
skirt! I think the sweet treat skirt is so fitting for a tea house and
the colors of the skirt are so bright and cheerful! It made me smile and
few other people at the tea house! I think the combination of the soft
and bold colors make a yummy look!

I really like my new glasses. They’re branded Dior, not that it matters or anything I think they give a more geeky kind of look, almost dorky. As a matter of fact, there’s this guy I’m friends with, who I was trying to explain to how I thought studying on a daily basis was rewarding at the very end. And he called me a nerd. But hey, no worries ! I’m just working really hard, that’s all. Just like I worked hard on this outfit to go back to University.
