Twin Peaks

Good thing I’ve made the conscious decision to love Oregon, because if I
didn’t then the Memorial Day (i.e. unofficial start of summer hahahaha)
weather would not be ideal. But since I love Oregon and have been
watching Twin Peaks (set in a cold, misty Washington town) every night,
putting on this clothing to head to the mountain felt just right.

This month marks a year of living back here after four years in
Philadelphia/Peru/Buenos Aires and after a solid 11 months of
WHATAMIDOINGWITHMYLIFE things are finally moving. Transitions have a way
of upsetting the great things you have going, but this transition to a
new job this past month has really only upset one good thing (sartorial
creativity) as opposed to last year’s move back here which ruined
everything (friends/relationships/living space/happiness). So, even
though I’ve felt incredibly uninspired for the past few weeks I think it
is coming back. I kind of forgot what my style was or something (how
does that even happen) but now the amnesia seems to be gone.

But yeah…transitions, cold mountain weather, feeling like your life is
wrecked for over a year and then coming out of the ashes…what I’m
really trying to say is: EVEN WHEN LIFE IS AT ITS WORST IT IS STILL
PRETTY DAMN GOOD AMIRITE.
