Plaid and leather are a pretty classic combination. I see leather skirts whenever I go to the thrift shops, so if you want to try out a similar look, it’s easy and cheap, if you don’t mind a bit of hunting for the perfect one. Mine was originally from Danier and cost around $10 thrifted. When buying thrifted leather skirts though, check them thoroughly for scratches or funny wrinkles – these won’t come out. Also avoid leather with a powdery surface which indicates age and hard wear.
