Out of the Blue

When I was in DC, I noticed this beautiful set of blue chairs at this hotel called Helix right down the block from my old roomie’s apartment. You know I couldn’t resist hopping in front on the camera and on top of these chairs!

My shirt matches the chair quite perfectly–sue me! LOL I didn’t plan it, I swear! I scored this shirt on a Rainbow
clearance rack for $7! From far away, it looks like a floral pattern,
but it’s actually splotches of color, complete with ruffles. Ruffles are
the perfect girly addition to any dress, skirt, dress, whatever! My
shorts are from Avenue for a meager $6.

This fedora has become my favorite summer hat. I wonder if I can still
get away with wearing it in the winter? My earrings, I’ve had since
college. I got them at a place called Goody’s. I don’t remember the price, but I doubt I spent anything about $10. The sunglasses were $5 on the streets of Harlem!
