Around the Way Girl

With the weather at the all-time hottest this weekend, I knew my look
was going to have to be quick, easy & cool. I paired a plain grey
tank that you can get cheap from any store–mine was $5.99 from Rainbow wih a pair of stretch-waisted shorts from Avenue. Here’s
the kicker with the shorts–I spotted them on the sales rack for half
off ($8), but they didn’t have my size, nothing remotely close. But, I
wanted those shorts. So, I took the available size 30/32, pulled them
up as if they were high-waisted & belted them with a skinny brown
belt I got at Conway that came with a pair of shorts
for $8.99. Sure the shorts were huge, but the belt kept them in place
and the looseness of it all made me so comfortable! Since I was going to the movies that day, I knew I would need a sweater
or something for my arms because it gets soooo cold in the theatres.
This time, I opted for a scarf that was given to me by an old coworker.
It’s got beautiful golden flowers, greys and some deep reds in it. I
love this scarf. I never really know what do to with them, so most
times, I just tie them on to whatever bag I’m carrying.
