i wore this to a little get-together at my parents’ house last saturday to celebrate my dad’s birthday. as the weather is finally beginning to cool down here in houston, i’m trying to get some last use out of my summer items, like this forever 21 skirt, before they get packed away for the winter. i love transitional dressing because anything goes, fashion-wise, during that period of time between seasons, like tights w/ sandals!

I had been on the lookout for awhile for a wide black waist cincher belt… alas the search took way too long… They just never sat high enough on the waist. Then luckily I popped into a local Marshall’s.. and yay. New belt. I wore it the next day.

I picked up this skirt.. when I had the NEED to shop, and headed to Forever21 after work one day last week… unfortunately my Forever21 didn’t have any of the ‘fun stuff’ that tramanh from phi-style always finds… though a navy pocket skirt = good. And I finally got to use this bow necklace I picked up in harajuku.
