I’ve been looking so long for a pair of good corduroy pants that fit me well and they’ve turned out to be extremely rare. i almost gave up, but after seeing The Stylish Wanderer wear hers in a recent post my conviction was renewed and lo and behold….. I was trying to go for a 70s look but i’ll settle for close to 60s or in that range.

My platform heel boots kept my feet very warm

Today it was ridiculously cold in NYC. I always feel that wearing platform heels is the best idea when the weather is below freezing because your feet aren’t touching the ground as much My platform heel boots kept my feet very warm and my thick tights kept my legs warm ( i wore three tights). But i also wore a thick puffy vest, a sweater and a ruffled angora scarf that i threw off to take a few pictures in the freezing cold.

I always think it interesting to mix and match with the same pieces
