I absolutely love this silk/cotton mix blouse that Aritzia sent me. It kinda reminds me of something I’d wear on hot summer nights at home…flowy…light…and sheer–just too lovely! 64 Loading ...This skirt… I thought it was little too expensive at the time (still kinda do) when I bought it, but I’m starting to really love it. TOPSHOP had something similar in this great pearly/purple/pink color, but true to form it sold out in my size in about an hour. I guess this is my consolation prize….It’s kinda funny because I’m not really a skirt kinda person. Lotsa shorts and dresses, but not too many skirts. In some twisted (albeit I’m sure logical train of thought) I’ve always deemed skirts to be kinda….impractical! This Zara outfit through-and-through would not be complete without the top. Now this top, I had NO qualms about buying (for only 25 bucks) because it’s comfy as hell and looks badass.

Gennie July 29, 200916 Loading ...I got a call while I was at work that my Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony buckle sandals that I pre-ordered were finally ready for pick up!! I went today after work and while I was walking there, I felt my heart seriously racing. sigh… it’s shoe love. After I picked it up, the boy and I ran across the street to tear my package open so as not to embarrass myself inside the store – but he made me wait so that we could take some photos to show you guys how cute the packaging was. I’m not proud to say that patience is not one of my greatest virtues despite all the crazy shredding/studding that I force upon myself.

28 Loading ...These pants are perfect for the summer time… light, loose, and simple. Overall, a perfect addition to my wardrobe. Although they are shown as being full lenght in the ad as well as on the Gap site, in reality they are cuffed and stitched up (just they way the look on my photos). Gap.com also described them as high-waist, but they are not, they actually sit pretty low-at least that’s the way they fit me.

Even though it’s 25+ degrees out, I’m still choosing to wear my Frye boots. I still haven’t broken them in and it’s been over half a year! I must say though, they are awfully close to my heart. I got them at Aritzia on sale around boxing day for $75 dollars. I love clunking around in them. Makes me feel more substantial!
